Planning Your Visit
St. Paul's is a proud member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) and the Metropolitan New York Synod (MNYS). We are a vibrant Christian community grounded in rich tradition, thoughtful worship and a deep commitment to welcome. Whether you're exploring faith, visiting for the first time or looking for a church home, we're glad you're here. Below, you'll find answers to common questions. If there's anything we've missed, please reach out by contacting us here.
Where is St. Paul's located?
We are located at 120 Vernon Valley Road, just north of the train tracks on Larkfield Road. When driving north on Larkfield Road the road splits after the railroad tracks, take the fork to the right and the church will be on the right hand side of the road.
What time do you worship?
We worship each Sunday at 8:30 and 10:30 am.
*Holiday service times may fluctuate. Please call the Church office or check this website for changes.
Where can I park?
We have a small lot on the side of the building with handicap spots. We also have ample parking on our campus across the street.
Are your facilities handicap accessible?
Yes! Our entrance and Church is fully handicap accessible. Also, upon request we can supply wheelchairs and walkers if needed, just call or email the church ahead of time. Our church also has elevator access to all floors.
What do I do with my kids?
Your children are warmly welcomed here! Our 10:30 service includes a special Children's Message early in the worship. After that, kids are invited to "Jump In" to our Sunday School program where adults remain in the sanctuary. Of course, children are always welcome to stay with you in the pews if that's more comfortable for your family. Explore our full range of youth programs here.
How should I dress?
On any given Sunday, you'll see people in jeans and button-downs, dresses and heels, or suits and ties. We celebrate the diversity of how people show up. So please, come just as you are. Wear whatever helps you feel comfortable, confident and ready to engage in worship.
Is worship contemporary or traditional?
We do traditional and blended worship using the pipe organ, piano, and other
instrumental ensembles.
Where should I sit in the Sanctuary?
Anywhere! Try to arrive a few minutes before the service starts to pick out a
spot.
